Delmenhorst – A trailer separated from the pickup truck and ended up stranded in the middle of the highway. In the darkness, five cars crashed into the barrier. Three people were injured.
The accident happened on Monday evening on the A29 near Großenkneten. The 26-year-old man was driving his van towards the Ahlhorn triangle when the trailer suddenly came loose. The trailer then remained on the road – a dangerous situation in the dark.
Three injured people were taken to hospital
Five vehicles collided with the trailer or were damaged. Three people suffered minor injuries: a 25-year-old woman, a 23-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman. The ambulance took them to the hospital.
The police have three Car and recovered the trailer. According to police, the total damage amounted to around 26,000 euros. The left lane remained closed for about an hour and a half.
