Four people were injured in a collision between two cars in Worms this morning. The multi-lane state road 523 will have to be completely closed in both directions, as announced by police in Mainz. Road users are asked to avoid the accident site as much as possible.
According to a police spokesman, there were three people in one of the cars and one in the other. It is not yet known how serious their injuries are. The crash occurred at a point where the L523 has two lanes in each direction, separated by a center divider, the spokesman said. It is also not known whether the cars were traveling in the same or opposite direction.
