Two hunters lost their lives in two separate accidents while hunting wild boar hunting. It happened yesterday, November 22, in Tuscany.
In Quarrata, in the province of Pistoia, he died Adriano DiLorenzo69 years old. The tragedy occurred at Torre Sant’Alluccio, on the border with the municipality of Carmignano (Prato). Di Lorenzo was accompanied by about thirty other hunters who used their dogs to search for wild boars. According to the first investigation carried out by the Carabinieri in Carmignano, during the collective fire one of the bullets reached Di Lorenzo. Despite the immediate intervention of the rescue team and the assistance of the Pegaso helicopter, the man died on the spot. The Prato prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation into the murder to determine which gun fired the fatal shot.
Another tragedy occurred in Tirli, a hamlet of Castiglione della Pescaia, in the province of Grosseto. Renato Maestrini80 years old, a local hunter known as “Wild Boar”, was accidentally shot with a rifle while hunting wild boar.
The weapon was held by a 30-year-old young man who was hospitalized in a state of shock at the Misericordia hospital in Grosseto. The accident occurred in the forest of the Baracchino area, on the descent towards Pian d’Alma. Also in this case, the Grosseto prosecutor’s office prosecuted manslaughter.
