Wearing jeans, a belt and a dark shirt tucked into his trousers, the Morenoist deputy Antonio Attolini throws himself from the third rope of the ring against three masked wrestlers. The congressman from Coahuila transferred his report on legislative management to that stage, a wrestling show with hundreds of spectators.
“The people won, the Fourth Transformation won” he shouts in the commentator’s torn voice, regarding the local deputy’s participation in the show. The event took place this week, coinciding with the November 20 anniversary of the Mexican Revolution, at the Arena Coliseo Tony Arellano, in Torreón, Coahuila.
Deputy Morena, already the protagonist of other moments of media attention, released the video on his social networks, together with photos of the public showing different groups of children and families, and a message about his political commitment to complement what he defined as “an unprecedented political-cultural act”.
