This Wednesday, Guillaume Hoizey, toxicologist, and Jean-Michel Cattin, forensic doctor, will definitely stop hearing them at the Doubs Assize Court… which also would not have happened, if the defense had not asked that they be cited.
“This question could arise from the active role of the experts,” the chief justice began, regarding reports that they had co-signed most of the thirty cases of poisoning with which Frédéric Péchier was today accused. This work, which was described as “incomplete” by the investigating judge, was directed by Dr. Patrice Bodenan, an anesthesiologist who is now deceased.
