Singer Ayliva left the platform for the third time in a row YouTube was named Artist of the Year in Germany. The 27-year-old from the Ruhr region won in the “Artist of the Year” category against rappers RAF Camora and Apache 207, among others, as YouTube announced.
That award presented at a party in Berlin – and based on the most views on YouTube in Germany. Ayliva has had several number 1 hits, including “Sie weiss” (feat. Mero) and “Wunder” featuring Apache 207.
Zah1de is respected as a young artist
Rapper Zah1de (“Mona Lisa Motion”) was named Newcomer of the Year. The 15 year old teenager had just come out Berlin won Bambi in the “Shooting Star” category. The platform presented further awards at a YouTube event in Berlin. Oimara got the most popular song of the year with her catchy song “Wackelkontakt”, as it is said.
The most successful music video of the year in Germany was by rapper Jazeek, born in Aachen in 1999, for his song “Akon” with more than 17 million views.
Tiktok also handed out awards
The platform also shared it the same evening TikTok in Berlin, ten prizes for artists and creators who “set trends, enlighten and inspire their communities by 2025”.
Users chose TikTok star Fabian Rashagai, who is followed by nearly 650,000 people on the platform, as “Creator of the Year.” “This win recognizes her strong presence and the broad reach she has achieved on TikTok,” he said. The videos have a total of around 60.8 million likes.
The duo Aymen and Amo were named “Artist of the Year”. They set trends with their signature style and powerful rap parts. The rappers won against Ikkimel, Nina Chuba, Tokio Hotel and Zartmann.
