A resident of a refugee accommodation was hit by a car while crossing a country road and died. The driver and his young daughter were also injured.
A pedestrian was hit by a car and seriously injured while crossing a country road in the Bergstrasse district. The 36-year-old resident of nearby refugee accommodation died at the crash site near Lampertheim, police said. The driver of the car and his six-year-old daughter suffered minor injuries in the collision. The highway remained closed for four hours after the crash. Rescue helicopters were also used.
