Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker launches his own line of wellness products with Doctor Simi

The American musician Travis Barker, drummer of the pop punk band Blink 182 and husband of Kourtney Kardashian, has announced that his line of vegan wellness products, Barker Wellbeingarrives in Mexico through Pharmacies Similar. The announcement was made alongside the country’s most famous bottarga, Dr. Simi: a bald man with three hairs growing on each side of his head, thick gray moustache, white coat and shirt, black tie, who in one publication appears rejuvenated after his new association, with black hair. According to the companies’ social networks, the items are now available in 9,500 stores throughout the republic.

The website of Barker Wellbeing It shows that in the United States, including Hawaii, it has 542 stores; one near Calgary, Canada and another in Playa del Carmen on the Yucatan Peninsula. Among the products they sell are vegan magnesium gummies, mushrooms, vitamin B, muscle relaxing creams and balms, tattoo care creams, among others. According to what we read, the company was born due to the demanding routine to which the musician was subjected, which led him to think more about his physical and mental well-being. “It doesn’t matter if you’re a drummer, a marathon runner, a full-time parent, have an active lifestyle, or just need help with life’s little problems,” it reads.

Barker used two videos to announce the partnership with pharmacies. In the first, the bottarga appears sitting behind a red Ludwig drum kit (a brand that the musician has used throughout his career), with up to six drums – four air drums and two drums – two bass drums, five cymbals and a snare drum. Dr. Simi plays a drum solo like Barker himself would: fast and intense. After beating the drum for a few seconds, the bottarga hits one of the plates and immediately catches it with one hand. The video cuts to Barker sitting, shirtless, showing tattoos on his torso and neck and announcing, looking at the camera, that his brand is in Mexico.

In the second clip, Barker appears in an olive green Cadillac convertible. He wears dark glasses and a white t-shirt. “Go, let’s go to Mexico,” he says looking at the camera and starts playing. Jump down, a song the drummer released with hip hop duo The Cool Kids. On the roof of the car, with Baker, Doctor Simi dances and waves as they drive through the streets of a neighborhood in the United States.
