Rome, November 12 (Adnkronos) – “Minister Valditara today told the opposition that they should be ashamed. All this because we allowed ourselves to oppose his obscurantist provisions that prevent emotional and sexual education from being included in primary and lower secondary schools, while family consent is required to include it in secondary schools. This makes it difficult for girls and boys to access the training necessary to combat violence against women and to learn to have healthy and respectful relationships.” According to Laura Boldrini, representative of the Democratic Party and president of the Standing Committee of the World Chamber of Human Rights.
“Minister Valditara came to the assembly, which is rare, made a false reconstruction of its provisions, insulted us, then denied having done so and left. Such behavior of a minister is extraordinary. This government and this majority are an expression of the worst obscurantism ever seen in the history of the Republic. It is they who should be ashamed and Valditara should apologize to Parliament”, he concluded.
