Brasilia, November 23 (Adnkronos/AFP) – Former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro said he acted in a state of “paranoia” when trying to deactivate his electronic ankle bracelet, according to a Supreme Court document obtained by AFP. Bolsonaro said he experienced a bout of “paranoia between Friday and Saturday due to illegal drugs” when he tried to remove the device, the document said. The former president was under house arrest for the failed coup attempt and, after trying to damage the bracelet, was taken to prison.
