Boris Becker has become a father again: What is known about his fifth child

Boris Becker announced on his 58th birthday that he had become a father one day earlier: On November 21, his wife Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro (35) gave birth to a daughter – this is her first child and the fifth for the tennis legend. The girl was apparently born a little earlier than expected; Becker initially announced that her estimated due date was in December. What is known so far about Boris Becker’s youngest daughter?

The girl’s name is Zoë Vittoria Becker, as announced by the proud father. He explained the special meaning of the first name to the newspaper “Bild”: Zoë comes from Greek mythology and means “life”. Vittoria is the Italian feminine form of Victor – that was Lilian’s father’s name.

Becker’s wife recently revealed to the newspaper “Bild” that her father is one of the most important people in her life and a big inspiration for her. The 67-year-old was defense minister of the island nation of São Tomé and Príncipe and a politician for many years. Lilian herself grew up in Rome, where her mother studied medicine, and for a time in São Tomé and Príncipe.

Zoe Vittoria’s daughter will also apparently grow up in Italy: Boris Becker and Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro, who married in 2024, moved the center of their lives to Milan a few years ago, where the child was also born.

November 21 will now remain a special date for Boris forever: not only was his daughter born one day before his birthday, but also on the first anniversary of the death of his mother, Elvira. He died last year at the age of 89.

For Lilian de Carvalho Monteiro, this is the first child, making Boris Becker the father of five children: sons Noah (31) and Elias (26) are from his first marriage to Barbara Becker (59), and he also has son Amadeus (15) with ex-wife Lilly Becker (49) and daughter Anna Ermakova (25) from a short relationship with Angela Ermakova.
