Bremen: The Bremen Green Party has a new parliamentary leadership group

Economic politician Emanuel Herold is the leader of the new parliamentary group of the Green Party in the Bremen parliament. In the evening, the parliamentary group elected him as the successor to previous parliamentary group leader Henrike Müller, Senator for Environment, Climate and Science. Bremen has become. This Green politician previously served as spokesperson for the economy, ports/fisheries/shipping, European policy and development cooperation. In the election, six out of ten members of the parliamentary group voted for him, a party spokesman said. There is an opposing candidate in transport politician Ralph Saxe.

Solveig Eschen was unanimously elected as the group’s deputy leader – with two abstentions. The psychologist moved to the state parliament after Henrike Müller moved to the Senate. Eschen was a member of parliament from 2019 to 2023. Previous deputy speaker Philipp Bruck resigned from his post for family reasons.
