Due to a family emergency, the sports director did Christian Heidel has now left the FSV Mainz 05 rally. Upon his return he started his speech crying. This was confirmed by a spokesperson for the Bundesliga football team. The 62-year-old man said his father’s condition was not good. But Heidel caught his attention when delivering a speech about the sports situation in Mainz.

Heidel had previously withdrawn from the rally at short notice. The “Allgemeine Zeitung” first reported this.

A tentative idea is that Heidel’s planned lectures will be given to members in writing due to the situation. However, he then addressed those present. After a weak start to the season, Mainz are only second to last in the table.
