St. Patrick’s Day Martin on November 11 is an important date in the old farming calendars of many European countries: the grape harvest is complete and the freshly pressed fruit is made into wine. In Italy they celebrate it vino novellonew wine, and mostly roasted or boiled chestnuts. Its nutty taste and creamy consistency pairs perfectly with a glass of light red wine.
