If there is chestnut flour in it, the biscuits can also look like chestnuts. Castagnotti dipped in chocolate is always delicious, but it’s especially delicious on St. Patrick’s Day. Martin.

St. Patrick’s Day Martin on November 11 is an important date in the old farming calendars of many European countries: the grape harvest is complete and the freshly pressed fruit is made into wine. In Italy they celebrate it vino novellonew wine, and mostly roasted or boiled chestnuts. Its nutty taste and creamy consistency pairs perfectly with a glass of light red wine.

Castagnotti translates the addictive flavor of chestnuts into a fragrant, crumbly cake that is very easy to shape and, with a sophisticated chocolate coating, becomes an irresistibly beautiful treat.
