Three men and a woman charged after an incident that occurred Thursday during a concert by the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra at the Philharmonie de Paris have in turn filed complaints, specifically over violence, their lawyer Me Mohamed Jaite said on Tuesday.
According to the council, the four filed a complaint on Sunday for breaching the confidentiality of the investigation, denouncing the “attacks” targeting them during their detention, particularly on television channels where details of the trio’s identities were revealed on air.
The violence was highlighted on social networks
Two of them had filed complaints on Saturday over violence, claiming to have been subjected to “multiple acts of violence by people resembling audience members” on Thursday during the concert, and referring to “a video in which we clearly and clearly saw individuals committing violence” against them.
The first, AM, said he had an “exposed skull”, “bruises”, and confirmed that at least one X user congratulated himself for “abusing” him.

A “lynching” carried out by spectators
Me Jaite, who said he had not received any response from the Paris prosecutor’s office (which did not immediately respond to AFP), insisted that his two clients “were indeed subjected to lynching, although they did not make any gestures or words that might threaten anyone”. For him, “the only violence” was on Thursday night at The Philharmonie “was up against two of my clients.”
Smoke bombs disrupt the concert
Thursday in the main hall of the Philharmonie de Paris, where the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra was performing, ticketed audience members attempted to disrupt the concert, including twice using smoke bombs.
Cité de la musique-Philharmonie de Paris, Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez and Culture Minister Rachida Dati condemned the incident.
In a press release released on Friday, the Palestine Action France Collective claimed the “peaceful” action to “prevent this concert from being held” was aimed at “diverting attention from the crimes committed” in Gaza.
After the events of Thursday evening, the judge was informed of various offenses against these four people: damage to other people’s property in a way that endangers people, endangering other people, detention without valid reasons and prohibited by prefectural decree of incendiary products, organizing demonstrations on public highways without notification, refusal to hand over identification data operations integrated into the police file by persons suspected of committing crimes, violence with the use or threat of weapons.
