A truck and a car collided on a federal highway – four people died. The servants are not yet willing to hand over the Balou family dog.

The Bavarian Mountain Hound was said to be in the deceased’s van. Carina Niesen of Dog Search Help explains. “We will not give up. But unfortunately we have no clue where Balou is.”

Aides combed the area around the accident site near the windmill until night fell on Wednesday. Thermal imaging cameras are also used.

The search team now wants to retrace the nearby forest area. “I hope we find him, although alive and well is of course what we would love to do,” Niesen said. “But not knowing anything and uncertainty is worse than anything.”

A 45-year-old man, his 42-year-old wife and their seven-year-old daughter died in the crash. The 53-year-old truck driver was also killed.

According to police, the family’s car drove into the opposite lane for reasons that are still unclear and collided with the truck.
