Rome, November 15 (Adnkronos) – “They don’t understand the project in Albania because it is badly written, because they write it violates European and international law. The Italian public cannot be made to believe that judges are against the government. This is ridiculous. If you are looking for the culprit, Giorgia Meloni must take responsibility: the project is badly written”. Giuseppe Conte said it on Sky Tg24.
“It was a run forward – he added – after the failure of the naval blockade that made a mockery of Italy, at that time there was a desperate attempt, but it was born as a desperate attempt, repaired, rushed, badly written. And not only that, there was a Prime Minister who did not take responsibility to say ‘look, sorry, I tried, but I realized that this does not comply with European regulations and now we are trying to fix it’. And instead he kept saying ‘it will work’. At this point there was only one thing to do: get the money back and use it where necessary, here in Italy, for security.”
