Currently Italy leads 6-4 with 5 other wins collected in 1950 (3-2), 1952 (3-1), 1959 (4-1), 1961 (3-2) and 1969 (4-1) and defeats suffered in 1953 (2-3), 1957 (2-3), 2000 (1-4) and 2017 (2-3).
