“Dem mud on the president, false narrative”

House Democrats released some of the emails today Jeffrey Epsteinwhich is mentioned several times about a pedophile who committed suicide in his cell in 2019 Donald Trump. In one email, sent to his associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who is now serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking of minors, Epstein claimed that one of his victims had “spent hours at my house” with Trump. According to DailyMail, the young woman is indeed Virginia Giuffre. “I’m thinking about this,” replied Maxwell, who according to American media is preparing to submit a request for a reduced sentence to the Trump administration, with whom she had extensive contact last summer, and to seek improvements in her detention conditions. Among the published emails were also conversations Epstein had with journalist Michael Wolff in 2019 during Trump’s first term in the White House, regarding the circumstances that led the tycoon to ban the financier from Mar a Lago. «Trump said he asked me to resign, but I was never a member», referring to the club, Epstein, who later added: «Obviously he knows about the girls, because he asked Ghislaine to stop». Trump has always denied involvement in or knowledge of Epstein’s sex trafficking activities, admitting he was friends with the financier for years but later severed ties. Democratic members of the Oversight Committee said the released emails, drawn from thousands of documents from Epstein’s archive that reached the House, raise new questions about the relationship between the two. “These new emails raise broad questions about what else the White House is hiding and the nature of the relationship between Epstein and the president,” said Robert Garcia, the committee’s top Democrat.

What is the content of the new email?

The messages are destined to inflame debate on Capitol Hill over the Trump administration’s handling of the Einstein files, with the decision to abandon an election promise to make them public, a move that has sparked protests from Trump’s electoral base as well as from Republican representatives. All published emails date from the period following the agreement reached in 2008 by Epstein with a Florida court on charges of aiding and abetting child prostitution, with a sentence of 18 months in minimum security prison, of which he served only 13 months. In an email sent on April 2, 2011 to Maxwell, a copy of which was published by CNN, Epstein wrote: “I want you to understand that the dog that doesn’t bark is Trump”, thus referring to the tycoon who was a successful television personality at the time. The text is then followed by the omission of the name of one of Epstein’s victims who “spent hours with him at my home, he is never mentioned.” Democratic lawmakers said they were withholding the girl’s name to protect her identity. CNN underscored that “the context of her message was not immediately clear” and recalled that when she spoke with Todd Blanche, Trump’s personal lawyer who is deputy justice secretary, Maxwell stated that she had “never seen the president in an inappropriate situation” and that she did not remember seeing him at Epstein’s home, but only in a social context together with the financier. Trump and Epstein were friends in the 1990s and early 2000s, both spending time between New York and Palm Beach. This breakup occurred in 2004 and different versions have been given regarding the reasons, one of which refers to a dispute over the purchase of a property in Florida.

The third email exchange published today by Democrats also took place between Epstein and Wolff, a journalist who has written four books about Trump, and occurred in 2015, when the tycoon was involved in the Republican primaries for the presidential election he went on to win in 2016. “I heard that CNN wants to ask Trump about his relationship with you,” Wolff wrote to Epstein asking the journalist what the Republican candidate’s response should be. «If he says he has never been on a plane or at home, this gives you an important political and image asset – answered Wolff – it can generate positive profits for you, if he can really win, you can save him, thereby incurring debt. Of course it is also possible that when asked he will answer that Jeffrey is a great man and a victim of political correctness, which would be prohibited in the Trump regime.”

The White House: The False Narrative

“Democrats selectively turned over emails to liberal media to create a false narrative aimed at smearing President Trump,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt responded. “The anonymous victim referred to in this email is the late Virginia Giuffre, who has repeatedly stated that President Trump did not engage in any illegal conduct and was very friendly with him in their limited interactions,” the White House spokesperson added, referring to a victim of Epstein’s child trafficking ring who in recent years has more forcefully denounced the abuse she endured and died by suicide last April. “The fact remains that President Trump kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his club decades ago because he liked to praise his female employees including Giuffre,” Leavitt added. “These stories are nothing more than a bad faith attempt to divert attention from President Trump’s historic success. And every right-thinking American can expose these lies and distractions in the effort to reopen the government.”
