One of the most popular German rock bands announced its tour stop in Nuremberg. Max Morlock Stadium will be the backdrop in 2027.
“Tote Hosen” is coming to Nuremberg. The famous German rock band announced this on Sunday on their website and via social networks. The nearly four-minute clip shows singer Campino and actor Charly Hübner watching birds together. During this activity they talked about the band’s upcoming tour. Hübner complained that there were too few tour dates. He didn’t know if he could come.
The actor then suggested that the band could hold more concerts in 2027. Campino replied: “Okay, then we will have some more concerts in 2027.” The new date will then be displayed. Therefore, the stop at Max Morlock Stadium was part of the additional dates of the “Drink up! We have to go” tour. The concert will take place on June 12, 2027 at the home stadium of 1. FC Nürnberg.
But it doesn’t stop there: In addition to Nuremberg, the Düsseldorf band announced further dates for Mannheim (June 17, 2027), Bern (June 19, 2027), Graz (June 23, 2027), Leipzig (June 26, 2027), Braunschweig (July 3, 2027) and in their hometown Düsseldorf (July 10, 2027).
Advance sales for all new dates begin next Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 5 p.m. Tickets are available exclusively through the band’s website.
Die Toten Hosen last performed at Rock im Park in Nuremberg in June 2023. However, their last solo concert in the city was a long time ago. On December 19, 2012 they appeared on stage there as part of “The Noise of the Republic” tour.
