Special police forces arrested a doctor in Offenbach on Monday. The man was charged with unlawfully prescribing narcotic drugs and sexual assault by taking advantage of a medical relationship.

Emergency services searched the doctor’s practice in Offenbach. As announced by the Darmstadt public prosecutor’s office and the police headquarters of Southeastern Hesse, extensive investigations had previously uncovered evidence against the suspect.

Based on current knowledge, there is a suspicion that the defendant, who resides in Offenbach, may be unlawfully prescribing narcotics. He is also said to have committed sexual acts against a patient.

At the request of the Darmstadt prosecutor’s office, the accused will be brought before an investigating judge at the Darmstadt district court on Tuesday.
