The US President returned to Washington on Friday when Catherine Lucey, a Bloomberg economic journalist, asked him why he did not want to release the rest of the files on Jeffrey Epstein during his usual question-and-answer session with the press.

The irony of this is that on Sunday night, Trump asked Republicans in the House of Representatives to vote to release the Epstein files, in a remarkable reversal.
“We have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from the Democratic deception perpetrated by radical left-wing crazies to divert attention from the Republican Party’s great success… The House Oversight Committee can get everything it is legally entitled to, I DON’T CARE,” he wrote on Truth Social, just hours after Catherine Lucey’s question.
The journalist did not comment on this conversation, excerpts of which were shared on social networks. He recently shared a New York Times article about Trump’s ties to Epstein.
Donald Trump, who is a supporter of the threat, also told the journalist that Bloomberg should fire him when he met with the journalist on the tarmac after this flight.
