storyline
In the new animated film, rookie cops Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde find themselves on the trail of a major mystery when Gary De’Snake arrives in Zootopia and turns the animal city upside down. To solve the case, the two, in disguise, are forced to venture into new and unexpected areas of the city, where their ongoing collaboration is tested like never before.
The message of the film
‘Zootopia 2’ builds on the compelling message of the first film, reinforcing the universal and hopeful idea that, with perseverance and teamwork, anyone can achieve any goal as long as they’re willing to try. The new film begins immediately after the end of the first film, with Judy and Nick trying to make their new partnership work despite some initial difficulties. But as they discover their strengths (and differences) as a team, they become embroiled in a decades-old mystery involving Zootopia’s most prominent family, the Lynxleys, plus the arrival of the first snake seen in the animal metropolis in a hundred years.

Just like the 2016 film, this film was also directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, who won an Oscar for the first film ‘Zootrpolis’.
Musical collaboration between Ed Sheeran and Shakira
In the film the new original song ‘Zoo’ is performed by Shakira. The music and lyrics were written by the singer together Ed Sheeran and Blake Slatkin, who also produced the song with Alex (AC) Castillo. The instrumental soundtrack of ‘Zootropolis 2’ was composed by the Oscar winner Michael Giacchino.
