DWD Forecast: Last chance for golden autumn – it will get colder by then

That’s all for now with the sun and spring-like temperatures: the “golden autumn” has begun Baden-Wurttemberg more. Initially temperatures will be slightly cooler at the weekend, but at the start of the week temperatures will drop more significantly, as predicted by the German Weather Service (DWD). In higher areas there may be some sleet or even snow, as one meteorologist said.

Before that happens, the warm autumn season in Baden-Württemberg is really heating up again: DWD experts predict there will be sunshine on Friday after the initial fog with temperatures ranging from 14 degrees at Lake Constance to 21 degrees in Breisgau. Clouds will gather as the day progresses. There is a light breeze blowing, but at the top of the Black Forest this wind can also turn into strong gusts to storms from the southwest.

The T-shirt weather should be over: DWD meteorologists are predicting lots of clouds and some localized rain for the weekend. Temperatures cool down to 12 degrees on the Danube and up to 17 degrees in Breisgau. Thunderstorms are possible in the Black Forest on Saturday afternoon.

On Sunday temperatures will continue to drop, with highs of 10 to 14 degrees. A day later, after a cold night, temperatures dropped to single digits between 8 and 4 degrees. “Compared to now, the weather will be much colder,” said the DWD meteorologist.
