Electricity prices are (once again) back in the budget debate. Invited this Wednesday morning on France Inter, Minister of Economy and Energy Roland Lescure confirmed the government’s desire to study all “scenarios to reduce electricity prices”. Among them, aligning taxation with gas.
An amendment to this, made by Jean-François Husson, LR senator, was also submitted last Monday on behalf of the finance committee, as part of the examination of the Finance Bill (PLF).
