MT Melsungen is still unbeaten in the Europa League. The Bundesliga handball team also won against Budapest’s Ferencvaros TC after two previous wins. With a score of 33:27 (15:15), North Hessians are at the top of Group E with 6:0 points. The best pitchers were Arnar Freyr Arnarsson with six goals and Nikolaj Enderleit and Florian Drosten with four goals each.

Melsungen started the game badly and trailed 5-0 early on. The cause was poor utilization of opportunities and several technical errors. The Hungarians took advantage of this and withdrew. After about ten minutes, the host managed to control himself. The attack played better and Melsungen also had more access in defense. MT got closer and managed to equalize for the first time at 10:10 minutes (21st minute). Until half time it was an equal game.

The first goal after the restart meant the home team took the lead for the first time. But they still haven’t managed to make a small profit. Guests stay abreast of developments. Four minutes was finally enough for MT to force an early decision. Thanks to the strong interaction between the defense and goalkeeper, six goals were scored one after another. The match was decided at 27:21 (51).
