The sommelier Rocío Benito and the oenologist Juan Carlos Vidarte, from Albariza de la Venas, explain in this video the origin and some curiosities of this grape variety which gives its name to Rosalía’s song
From here comes the name of this white grape variety with which great wines are produced all over the world wild, meaning wild in French, e vineyardsvineyard
Starting in Catalonia and ending in Australia, but passing, of course, through France, these four wines are some of our favorite 100% sauvignon blanc wines to start with.
A wine originally from Catalonia, from Còsmic Celler, a leading national natural wine company, which presents this delicious sauvignon. Price: 18 euros.

Sancerre Blanc Les Romains, by Domaine Vacheron
Domaine Vacheron is one of the legendary producers of the Loire (France), especially the Sancerre area. This is a wine we feel very attached to because it was one of the first sauvignon blancs we tried and it made us discover and become passionate about the Loire. Price: 57.90 euros.

Le Grand Cléré at the Table, by François Blanchard
We love this ancient sparkling wine because it is another way of understanding the variety and interpreting it a little outside the norm. It’s not the typical one because it doesn’t age or have to wait time in the bottle, but rather it’s a fresher version, with bubbles in everything it gives. Price: 29.20 euros.

It is a natural wine that helped us put the version made in the antipodes (Adelaide Hills, Australia) on the map, with a cut bordering on the forbidden and the best possible name: the sensual sauvignon. Price: 35.25 euros.
