The motive for the shooting is still unknown. Singer Delarosa died at the age of 22 this Saturday, shot dead by two gunmen on the streets of Los Angeles (United States). The young woman was hit several times according to a press release from local police.
“On Saturday, November 22, 2025, at approximately 1:25 a.m., gunshots were heard” in Northridge, northwest of the city, the Los Angeles Police Department said. According to witnesses, “two male suspects approached the parked vehicle before firing multiple shots.”
Two other victims are in critical condition
When help arrived, the victim identified as Maria De La Rosa aka “Delarosa” was rushed to hospital before succumbing to her injuries. Two other people were hit in the car, and are currently still in critical condition.
The motive for this “fatal ambush” is not yet known to police who have opened an investigation. No suspects have been identified at this time. “Anyone with information is asked to contact homicide investigators,” Los Angeles police said.
