After a house fire, a man was taken to hospital by helicopter with serious injuries. Police are investigating the cause of the fire.
A 28-year-old man was seriously injured in a fire in an apartment in an apartment building in Delmenhorst. The apartment was already burned to the ground when firefighters arrived, police said.
The resident fled the fire onto a balcony and was rescued by the fire brigade. He was then taken to hospital by the Bundeswehr rescue helicopter. According to current knowledge, there is no danger to life. The fire was successfully extinguished and the scene confiscated. An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
