After six months of work under the auspices of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (Cese), the 74-page document lists 20 proposals to improve the lives of children aged 3 to 18.

Among their conclusions was the idea of returning to a five-day week, while a four-day week prevails in 90% of regions. After coming to power in 2017, Emmanuel Macron proposed to the city government to choose between a four-day week (established by Nicolas Sarkozy) and a four-and-a-half day week (implemented under François Hollande’s government).
