After the sudden death of Youtuber Jan Zimmermann, there is great concern on the internet.

An epileptic seizure was the cause of the YouTuber’s death
Jan Zimmermann “died of an epileptic seizure” last week. This was announced by his relatives on Zimmermann’s Instagram account.

Zimmermann suffers from Tourette’s syndrome
Jan Zimmermann suffers from Tourette’s syndrome. Together with Tim Lehmann he formed the YouTube duo “Gewitter im Kopf”. “Gewitter im Kopf” is one of the most successful German YouTube channels with almost two million followers. In the video, Zimmermann mainly reports about his life with Tourette’s syndrome.
In late 2022, Zimmermann had a pacemaker implanted to suppress the tics. Nervous disease remained a part of his life.
Tourette’s syndrome is a neurological disorder that causes uncontrolled movements and vocalizations. The symptoms can be treated with appropriate therapy.
