Gaucho Stefano Ricci for Fall/Winter 2026/2027 – Fashion

The Explorer project by Florentine designer Stefano Ricci continues in Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, where tonight at the Teatro Niccolini in Florence it will show its fall/winter 2026/27 collection, inspired by gauchos and South American traditions. This mission, which is the eighth of the project, resulted in a collection of images taken deep in Chile, between the waters of the Gray Glacier and natural parks, passing through the fjords, with the aim of following the puma’s trail. In this regard, an agreement has been reached with the Fundación Científica Acción Fauna, for a series of conservation plans for the puma in its natural habitat in central Chile. Then this whole world can be found in the collection.
”The penguins of Isla Magdalena with their sparkling feathers inspire the perfect luxury of an evening tuxedo, completely black, with fabric from Antico Setificio Fiorentino,” explains creative director Filippo Ricci. Then in the collection there are snow white parkas, moleskin trousers, multi-pocket field jackets, garments with removable lining, sporty cotton and cashmere shirts with patch pockets, and thick corduroy cargo shirts. The color palette ranges in shades of brown, blue and cream but also green as a tribute to the Pampas.
Meanwhile, the company also continues to invest in the region, having completed the acquisition of Moleria Locchi, an artisan company specializing in glass and crystal milling, engraving and restoration. In a few days a new boutique will be inaugurated in Washington (USA), then in Rome in the first quarter of 2026. But last week, the Equestrian Line was launched at Fieracavalli in Verona with content dedicated to dressage and showjumping. But tomorrow, a conference is scheduled at the Palazzo Vecchio with several explorers coming from all over the world, to discuss topics such as the environment and the future. Finally, from an economic perspective, after years of growth, the company’s turnover has decreased. ”In a geopolitical context still characterized by strong uncertainty, after years of continuous growth, at the end of the third quarter there was a slight decline in revenue – said Niccolò Ricci, CEO of the company. – Turnover, as of September 30, reached more than 152 million euros, highlighting single-digit growth in the retail network”.
