Eradicating drug trafficking is a government priority. Justice Minister Gérald Darmanin demanded extradition“around fifteen” suspected drug dealer “very considerate” wanted by France, during his visit to the United Arab Emirates, where some of them reside, he wrote on Wednesday on social networks

The detailed minister has sent the list to his colleagues, adding that “since the beginning of this year, fourteen drug traffickers (have) been arrested and then extradited to France to be imprisoned there (mainly in the high-security prisons we have created) and tried.”

This announcement came a day after a meeting held by Emmanuel Macron to review the measures taken to combat drug trafficking within France and also outside it.
