Green light for Rai’s new single hub

Rai Center will leave Corso Sempione and Via Mecenate to move to a single hub between Via Gattamelata and Colleoni. Council approved the building permit agreement between the City and the Fiera Foundation. The green light is also on efforts to reduce urbanization costs, with a value of around 2.2 million euros: the redevelopment of Piazza Gramsci, the design of which is currently being developed, and Piazza Gino Valle, with the creation of a bicycle-pedestrian path from Portello to the square below Timpano, with the aim of a future extension along Viale Scarampo to the CityLife park. “An ambitious project is being launched, a new home for the Ra production center, more modern and in line with new needs, and at the same time the important area of the Exhibition center is being appreciated”, says Deputy Mayor responsible for Urban Regeneration Anna Scavuzzo. We are also satisfied with the identified deductible works, for which the project is forthcoming: this is a significant intervention to improve the public space.

Meanwhile, yesterday, at the first Culture Table promoted by the Fiera Foundation, to start a discussion on the relationship between culture and the exhibition system, the president of the Fiera Foundation, Giovanni Bozzetti (pictured) recalled that our country “has a unique heritage in the world” and that “we should be proud of our creativity, innovation, art and culture, an authentic engine of economic development. It is important to build synergies with the region and with local cultural realities, to jointly enhance what makes Italy truly special.”
