A simple handwritten note to rehabilitate an ancient flirt? Charlotte, 37, had been searching for several days for a secret admirer who left a sweet note on the windshield of her car, which was parked on November 18 near Albi (Tarn) cathedral. To do this, he sent a message to the Tarn Info Facebook group, report our colleagues from Here.

Members quickly got involved: within 48 hours, more than 200 comments were posted on the 125,000-member group, according to media. And for good reason, the author of that sweet message left no trace or means of allowing him to be contacted again in his message.

“Hello Miss, you caught my attention <3 I hope to see you here more often... Have a nice day xoxo <3”, was simply written on a half envelope decorated with two hearts. Returning to her vehicle, after cleaning the sheets of the tourist accommodation she had rented, Charlotte first thought about the fine...

“We smiled at each other”

The thirty-year-old, who had lived in Tarn for three years and was recently single, later recalled a brief conversation with a stranger on the stairs leading to the car park: “We smiled at each other and talked for a while. I thought it was him,” he explained to Here, describing a man with “short, graying hair”, wearing a “mustard cream coat” and “light brown patent shoes”.

“From what I see, he looks charming,” smiled the thirty-year-old man. Her search on Facebook has so far turned up nothing, except for a few improvised applicants. “There were a lot of people claiming to be the person I was looking for, but as soon as I asked about my car or where I parked specifically, they couldn’t answer,” said Charlotte.

Having no serious clue, Charlotte ultimately decided to leave her professional card prominently visible on her dash, in the hope that the note-writer would one day pass through the parking lot again.
