In mid-August, the HSV documentary “Always Hamburg,” eagerly awaited by fans, celebrated its premiere – in cinemas and in the ZDF media library. Since then, fans and interested parties have been able to relive the revival story in six 30-minute episodes.
The project was a complete success for the filmmakers from OMR (Online Marketing Rockstars) and broadcaster ZDF, and fan interest was high from the start.
The good news: It keeps going!
HSV: Encore for documentary
Under the motto “You want more,” the creators announced the release of more material on Instagram. Regarding the combined contribution from OMR, HSV, OMR boss Philipp Westermeyer and director Tom Häussler said: “We will make an extension.”
And it’s all happening next Friday (November 28), as seen in the date display at the end of the video.
Real: The new footage from the advertising teaser is mainly about fans’ voices. Six supporters expressed their opinions, as well as stadium announcer Christian Stübinger, who spoke about the choreography preparations. Most importantly, images of filled stands were shown.
Most of the documentary is actually about insight into how the team works.
Right around the premiere, the creators made it clear that they had gathered far more material in more than 100 days of filming than they could show in a documentary.
