“Let us challenge each other to a duel.” Mauro Corona and the lawsuit from Aurelio De Laurentiis, new episode of E’ semper Cartabianca. The writer and sculptor, as is known, was sued by the president of Napoli for some comments made during the Covid period when the Azzurri protector, who had a fever, went to a League meeting. The Rete4 broadcast hosted by Bianca Berlinguer caught up with De Laurentiis who asked for ‘clemency’ for Corona. The President of Napoli chose to remain silent and did not answer questions.

“A classy man can take it with enthusiasm. This is a little cruel…”, said Corona after observing the service. “Now the complaint cannot be withdrawn, the trial continues. I don’t have 600 thousand euros, but even if I did, I wouldn’t give it to him. I want to go to prison. I am a person who is not careful in dialogue, I am always afraid of getting complaints. But let’s challenge each other to a duel, like in the Middle Ages,” he added.

“The worry of receiving complaints drives us to no longer express ourselves as before: 600 thousand euros here, 600 thousand there… I am not Trump or Musk. If I were to die, we would make an episode and say anything: then 3000 complaints could come…”, he continued. De Laurentiis was sent to Rome to stand trial in proceedings related to transfer market operations: “I’m not happy with this downturn, I don’t enjoy it. If we challenge each other to a duel, like before, yes…”, commented Corona.
