On Friday evening, November 21, at around 10 pm, about 60 agricultural machines and 100 farmers from the Rural Coordination (CR) from all Gers departments started their first strike operation in Auch, the first after their 32 strike operations.e annual congress, held on November 18 and 19 in Gers prefecture. Their priority targets: the Departmental Regional Directorate (DDT) as well as the city’s banking institutions – especially Crédit Agricole, in front of which they store straw, tires and various rubbish. This time, angry farmers officially avoided city centers and prefectures “so as not to disturb the Auscita people too much”…but perhaps most importantly because this area is protected by a strong police mobilization.
