The scenario presented by individual savings plans has not changed. Even in October, the same scenario played out and has been repeating itself for months with bond products holding sway throughout the system.

According to estimates developed by the Pir Plus24 Observatory, the total collection of most of the plans offered on the Italian market archives a monthly balance sheet with an account surplus of 195 million, while its assets amount to 18.7 million (the sample of companies considered by the Observatory includes the main managers active in this segment in Italy and represents approximately 80% of the sector monitored by the Assogestioni, the association of asset managers operating in our country).

Encouragement from bonds

They have always been the type of winners that managers focus on, driving a growing number of customers month after month, many of whom may have left other PIRs at the same companies, now entering their fifth year of investment and initially more oriented towards stock listings. Bond receipts in October were recorded at 198 million, a figure more than enough to compensate for the outflows suffered by the flexible category, which was in the red at 26 million, and the equity category, negative at more than 11 million. On the other hand, the balanced product balance was positive, with 33.4 million coming into cash last month.

Product

Among the range of individual funds, the product that raised the most funds in October was Bcc Investire Obbligazionario Pir bonds which raised almost 64 million in thirty days. However, flexible Italian Sviluppo from Mediolanum closed the rankings, having filed its monthly balance sheet with a deficit of 15 million. In terms of assets, the PIRs managing the most significant assets are Italy’s Mediolanum Flessibile Futuro (2.6 billion), Italy’s Mediolanum Flessibile Sviluppo (1.9 billion) and Italy’s Eurizon Piano Azionario (1.2 billion), a trio that represents more than 30 percent of total assets managed by individual savings plans.

Companies

On a monthly basis, Eurizon stands out with a total of 79.2 million, Bcc Risparmio & Previdenza with an active account of 56 million and Mediolanum with a collection of 51 million. Positive balance also for Arca (16 million). Even analyzing the data since the beginning of the year, the results achieved by Eurizon stand out, collecting 601 million and the performance of Mediolanum is also very positive with 425 million, Bcc Risparmio & Previdenza (416 million) and Amundi (248 million). Figures that are more restrained but worth paying attention to are the figures for Arca (55 million) and Neam (48 million).
