Since dawn on Thursday, in Rome, the search for the body of Paolo Adinolfi, a judge who disappeared in 1994 and was never heard from again has been underway: the search began at the Casa del Jazz, a building that hosts cultural events in the nearby Garbatella district. Outside there were carabinieri, the Guardia di Finanza and investigators with molecular dogs, which are part of the canine unit and are specially trained to search for humans.
Adinolfi works in the courts of Rome, in the bankruptcy department (which handles disputes related to business crises), where he was recently appointed. On July 2, 1994 he left the house where he lived with his wife and two children, but never returned: an investigation into his disappearance was started, then closed.
It is not known on what basis it is believed that Adinolfi’s remains may be near the Casa del Jazz: the decision to start a search was taken at the request of the prefecture. The news was provided by Night courier.
