“WORLD” OPINION – MUST SEE
Almost ten years have passed since the theatrical release of the first part, but the story Zootopia 2it begins just days after rabbit Judy Hopps and fox Nick Wilde save an animal town from a conspiracy led by a sheep running for mayor. The friends are now police officers and partners, but struggle to carry out their mission, causing a lot of damage and many nervous breakdowns in the hierarchy in a hilarious and well-crafted chase.
Until a clue leads them to investigate a new plot in Zootopia related to reptiles. In fact, it didn’t escape viewers of the first film that they didn’t exist, just like birds or insects. Incidentally, the film rehabilitates a traditional Disney “villain”: the snake. Gary De’Snake, who shared a poster with the heroes, cultivated a particular graphic affiliation with Kaa, from Jungle Book (1967), or Mr. Sad Robin Hood (1973).
The production team led by Jared Bush and Byron Howard has made a worthwhile effort not to settle for a sleeper extension of this animated comedy that is one of the most profitable films in the history of cinema (its revenue exceeded one billion dollars, or more than 867 million euros). The directors went further in their exploration friend movie police. Judy and Nick must now share a certain intimacy, learn to trust each other and overcome their differences.
