Rome, 18 November (askanews) – Language must truly be “an instrument of peace, especially for us. At a time when we often talk about building walls, the Italofonian community is instead a new way to build bridges. Representatives from all continents are present in this room: the Italofonian community will be a permanent meeting point for all of us, Italian is and must be the language of peace”. This was conveyed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Vice President of the Council, Antonio Tajani, in his speech at the First Italian Conference.
