New angle of attack for the National Rally. The president of the far-right party, Jordan Bardella, questioned the Prime Minister on Wednesday, November 19, about Bercy’s planned property tax increase. The government intends to update the housing archives that determine the amount of tax. This could impact 7.4 million homes, with an average increase of 63 euros, according to the newspaper Parisianwho disclosed this information.

“I regret that homeowners have become the government’s cash cow”said the RN President in front of journalists on the sidelines of a visit to the International Internal Security Exhibition (Milipol) in Villepinte (Seine-Saint-Denis). “What surprised me was the way Bercy tried to covertly implement these measures behind the backs of national representatives”he added. Condemn a “blow in the back for French owners”he called “The Prime Minister solemnly rejects this action”.
