The excitement surrounding Karim Adeyemi (23) is also a problem in our national team!
According to BILD research, the attacker received a penalty notice for illegal possession of weapons a few weeks ago. Therefore, the police managed to detect two prohibited items on Adeyemi, namely brass knuckles and an electrical impulse device (Taser).
Adeyemi had to pay 60 daily rates of 7,500 euros each. That’s 450,000 euros!
Are there now any consequences for Adeyemi from the DFB? NO!
BILD reporter Yvonne Gabriel said on the BILD Sport program on WELT TV: “The DFB initially did not want to comment on our official request. According to our information, there will be no sanctions for Adeyemi.”
And further: “We have had internal discussions with the player, with sporting director Rudi Völler, with national coach Julian Nagelsmann. But we want to put a clear focus on this important match tomorrow night.”
Our national team will face Slovakia on Monday evening in Leipzig in the final match of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. A draw is enough for the DFB team to clinch a ticket.
