A Russian businessman races along a Moscow highway – soon his luxury car catches fire. He couldn’t escape outside in time.

Russian businessman and crypto millionaire Alexei Dolgikh died in a serious car accident. As reported by the Russian state news agency Tass, Dolgikh died on a Moscow highway on Sunday evening. His Lamborghini burned down.

The businessman lost control of his car, hit the guardrail and rolled over. The car immediately caught fire and help was too late for the 36 year old man.

His passenger also died in the blaze, Tass reported. Two other passengers were taken to hospital with serious injuries. The Moscow prosecutor’s office confirmed the crash via its official Telegram channel, but did not name any names.

Dolgikh may have been traveling at excessive speed on the highway. Dashboard camera footage showed burning vehicles and bundles of Russian rubles on the road.

As reported by several Russian media, Dolgikh was recently blacklisted by several Russian banks on money laundering charges. As the portal “24CMN” wrote, the 36-year-old man is a well-known figure in the crypto world. He is said to have owned several expensive cars and was caught speeding several times.

According to media reports, the Lamborghini that the businessman burned to death was said to be worth around 35 million rubles or the equivalent of around 370,000 euros.
