Only sawdust remains on the road to cover up the catastrophe of the night of the dead that is still shrouded in mystery. Windows and balconies of surrounding buildings are prohibited. Nobody wants to talk about how Lorenzo FioriniThe 27-year-old, ended up on the asphalt, falling from a b&b on the third floor in the heart of Monteverde, a neighborhood of the capital between the Tiber and Villa Doria Pamphili. The friend who was at the house with him on Thursday night, David Stojanovic25 years old, is being investigated for allegedly killing Lorenzo. Rome’s investigating judge authorized the prosecutor’s arrest but released him from house arrest.

Stojanovic was released again because there was no danger of flight but the judge was not convinced by what the young man, a clerk at the Rinascente on Via del Tritone, kept repeating: «Lorenzo is going crazy, we have been smoking marijuana. He took off his clothes, broke all the furniture and tried to jump down. I tried to save him.”
On the bodies of the victim and his friend who grew up with him in the province of Frosinone, there were signs of a fight. An autopsy revealed this. The medical examiner also photographed scratches and bruises on Stojanovic’s skin. There was a key witness, for the police, who gave a different version than his friend. “I heard screams coming from the apartment on the third floor – said the woman who works as a guard on the ground floor of the same condo – and I also screamed for him to stop. Then I saw the naked boy on the balcony, his friend pushed him and he responded to the push.”
There is an important hole in this story: the woman did not see how Lorenzo ended up upside down outside the balcony. That’s why the prosecutor Francis Xavier Musolino he had decided to go under house arrest. “I went out on the terrace, I shouted for help when I saw the boy hanging in the air. The other one was holding one of his legs tightly in his arms. From the balcony they were screaming to throw the mattress. Then I came out again and the boy was lying on the ground.”

Those investigating have not ruled out anything. Stojanovic’s report has been confiscated and will be analyzed. The 25-year-old man’s toxicology test was positive for cannabinoids, and the medical examiner has ordered to determine whether and what medications Lorenzo was also taking. Yang ended up naked on the balcony but the bed, in a messy house, was found neatly made. On the table in the living room was a gram and a half of marijuana, two pizzas and a portion of sushi. What happened at dinner remains unclear.
