They roam at night, kill, then hide during the day… “Loups-Garous” returns for a new season, starting December 5, in prime time, on Canal +. Fifteen players will play the famous board game “Les Loups-Garous de Thiercelieux” in life size. They found themselves in a village built in the middle of the forest. Among them were three werewolves, who, as night fell, eliminated a villager. During the day, those remaining gathered to nominate someone they considered to be a beast. The aim of this entertainment, which became a hit among audiences last year: for the villagers, is to unmask the werewolf and for the villagers, to disguise themselves as villagers.
Once again, the profile of the program’s cast, imagined by comedians Fary and Panayotis Pascot, is varied and handpicked. RAID negotiator, medium, international chess master, psychologist specializing in control, engineer at NASA, hacker… “These masters of strategy and manipulation will face each other in an anthology game,” promises the encrypted channel. Cunning and duplicity will be essential. The team spirit will be tested.” As in the first season, Fary, Panayotis Pascot, and Mister V will be present in the game.
What’s new? For this second season, ten episodes are planned, compared to last year’s eight episodes. Two episodes will air on launch night, then one every Friday night, and two episodes on the final night, January 23. There will also be five new missions, these tests mark gathering days where villagers can hope to win new role cards and which can be sabotaged by werewolves to prevent this. A recipe that looks like fun. The format was recently sold in sixteen countries. Season 1 has garnered 17 million views on Canal+.
“Loups-Garous”, season 2. Starting December 5 on Canal + at 21:10.
