Two puppies aged about eight weeks were taken to an animal shelter after a police check near Passau. Veil investigators found the animals Saturday night in a resting place in the car of a 41-year-old man who was driving from Austria to Germany with his adult son. Hard POLICE The animals are American Staffordshire terriers. This includes dog breeds that are classified as dangerous and should not be brought to Germany.
In addition, the animal may have been separated from its mother too early. According to the law, this is not allowed before the ninth week of life. A veterinarian must now determine the exact ages of the puppies, a spokesman said. According to police, the owner was also unable to produce a pet passport or the required vaccinations for the dog.
According to information, the 41-year-old man’s car was also not insured and his driver’s license was revoked. Police are now investigating the 41-year-old man and his son.
