A lottery player from Lower Saxony has won more than 20 million euros. The Lower Saxony Lotto announced that the person was the only person in the entire country who correctly guessed the six winning numbers and the super number in the “6 out of 49” game in prize class 1 on Wednesday. The lucky person can expect a total of 20,623,737.60 euros.
Lower Saxony Lotto calls a lucky tip “a moment that changes lives forever.” It’s just that: whose life will change now is still unknown. Million dollar winners have not yet registered. “The new millionaire now has three years to claim his million-dollar winnings,” the statement said.
It is known that the winner handed over his betting slip in the Osterholz district. He has ticked numbers in eight fields and run betting slips in eight draws. The last drawing involving tickets on November 12 was a straight hit.
The chances of getting all six numbers correct plus a super number are very small – according to the Lower Saxony Lotto it is around 1:140 million. Even six correct numbers is highly unlikely. The odds of winning here are 1:15.5 million.
So far this year there have been 120 high wins of at least 100,000 euros in lotteries in Lower Saxony. 15 of them were million wins.
