A Berliner bought a ticket in September. He now owns a villa in the Bavarian Forest. But what makes this property so special?

The 42-year-old Berliner is the new owner of the architect’s villa in the Bavarian Forest. He won his own house in the dream house draw – with a ticket he bought for 25 euros.

The Berliner’s new home is worth around two million euros, according to the dream house lottery. This villa has a panoramic balcony, fireplace, sauna and home cinema. The man bought the deciding ticket in September.

This is not his first participation: The 42-year-old has already entered the draw several times, including at Förde, Nordsee and Bayern Houses. This time he was lucky.

According to the organisers, the dream house draw is the first draw in Germany where players have the chance to win real property. Additionally, participants can earn additional winnings. With every ticket sold, the dream home raffle supports selected non-profit organizations in Germany. Part of the proceeds from this raffle will be donated to German Cancer Aid.

The dream house draw is technically conducted by Lotto24. The organizer and licensee is Dreamify gGmbH.
